AquaDiary is an independent science communication project dedicated to improving public understanding of water quality, aquatic ecosystems, and environmental science.

Producing high-quality, evidence-based educational content requires significant time and resources, including research, fieldwork, interviews, equipment, travel, FOIA filing fees, and media production. To ensure educational content remains freely accessible to the public, AquaDiary is supported through a combination of YouTube advertising revenue, sponsorships, partnerships, affiliate commissions on selected products, memberships (YouTube, Patreon, and Substack), consulting services, speaker honorariums, soon-to-be merch, and voluntary contributions from our audience. These funding sources allow us to continue creating independent educational resources while expanding our reporting and research.
 

Editorial decisions are made independently. Financial supporters and sponsors do not influence the reporting or content. When a video, podcast episode, article, or resource contains sponsored material or affiliate links, that relationship is clearly disclosed. The commitment is to provide accurate, transparent, and evidence-based information that serves the public interest.
